Cordelia A. Oakley was born on 19 December 1837.1,2,3 She was the daughter of William Oakley and Marcia Oakley.4 Jones states she was born in Mile Square, Yonkers, New York, in 1838.5 Cordelia and Susan were twin sisters.5

Cordelia A. Oakley appeared on the census of 1 October 1850 at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her father.6

Cordelia A. Oakley married Isaac DeVoe, son of John DeVoe and Elizabeth Landrine, on 28 August 1859.1,7

Cordelia A. Oakley appeared on the census of 29 August 1860 at Mount Pleasant Township, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her husband.8

Cordelia A. Oakley appeared on the census of 20 June 1870 at Mount Pleasant Township, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her husband.9 She and Isaac DeVoe resided in 1876 in Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York.10

Cordelia A. Oakley appeared on the census of 21 June 1880 at North Tarrytown, Mount Pleasant Township, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her husband.11

Cordelia A. Oakley died on 11 March 1882 at age 44.1,2,3
