Maryland State POGs
Created by 4th Grade Students at Fairland Elementary School,
Montgomery County, Maryland, June, 1995
Bonnie Louden, 4th grade Teacher, and Mary O'Haver 5th grade Teacher, had students create
POGs for official and unofficial symbols of Maryland. POGs became a popular theme among
students at this particular time, so we decided to capitalize on the idea and focus it
towards an educational product. Students scanned all the images they created, wrote
and typed in all the text. Hope you enjoy them. There will be more to follow.
