The C.&O. CANAL

The C.&O. Canal was a man made canal. The canal went from Seneca to Cumberland. The canal was 354 1/2 miles long when it was finished. It was built in parts. Each part was being used when it was finished. Today people go to the canal on field trips and they get to ride on the Canal barge.
