Maryland is known for the Baltimore Clipper Ship. The clipper ship was the fastest boat in the sea. The Clipper was the first to come under attack. Baltimore was famous in the early 1800's for building the clipper ships. The Clipper was built for speed. Baltimore Clippers carried cargo across the seas. The Clipper is not an easy boat to sail. The Pride of Baltimore was built in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. It is a clipper ship. It is also a good will ship that travels the seas in modern times.
