Edith Edna Tompkins was born in April 1865 at 7 Harmon Street, White Plains, Westchester County, New York.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Thomas T. Tompkins and Catherine ____.2,3

Edith Edna Tompkins married John Herbert DeVoe, son of Isaac DeVoe and Cordelia A. Oakley, on 21 June 1888 at 7 Harmon Street, White Plains, Westchester County, New York.4,5,3 Edith Edna Tompkins and John Herbert DeVoe lived at 5 Harmon Street, White Plains, Westchester County, New York, beginning about 1895, in a house built by his father.3

Edith Edna Tompkins appeared on the census of 21 June 1900 at Greenburgh Township, Westchester County, New York, with her husband and children in the household of her father.2

Edith Edna Tompkins appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 at 5 Harmon Street, White Plains Village, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her husband.6
