Albert LeRoy DeVoe was also known as "Albert Leroy." He was born on 26 August 1894 in White Plains, Westchester County, New York.1 He was the son of John Herbert DeVoe and Edith Edna Tompkins.2

Albert LeRoy DeVoe appeared on the census of 21 June 1900 at Greenburgh Township, Westchester County, New York, in the household of his maternal grandfather.3

Albert LeRoy DeVoe appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 at 5 Harmon Street, White Plains Village, Westchester County, New York, in the household of his father.4 He married first Esther LeVine in 1916.2

Albert LeRoy DeVoe appeared on the census of 15 January 1920 at 80 Central Avenue, White Plains, Westchester County, New York, as a boarder in the household of Annie Watkins.5 He was an electrician for "W. Electric Supply" according to the January 1920 census.5

Albert LeRoy DeVoe appeared on the census of 19 April 1930 at 5 Harmon Street, White Plains, Westchester County, New York, with his wife and daughter in the household of his father.6 He was an electrician (installation) according to the April 1930 census. He was an electrician who operated his own business.1

Albert LeRoy DeVoe died on 1 September 1980 in Northern Westchester Hospital Center, Mount Kisco, Westchester County, New York, at age 86.8,1
