The goal of this research is to characterizize the spatial relationships and potential skin property covariate effects on the skin microbiome community sampled along transects. In particular, two community level-patterns are of interest: within a highly sebaceous site (the forehead, figure 1A), and across a gradient from moist to dry (figure 1B) and at different depths (figure 1C).
This website contains code for loading and processing data, and analyzing Species Richness and Species Diversity across these transects and across various covariates, as well as a pairwise analysis of the spatial structure of Community Similarity.
