Welcome to my personal website!

I am currently an Associate Professor from the Quantitative Methodology: Measurement and Statistics (QMMS) program in the Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology (HDQM) at University of Maryland, College Park.

I will be joining the Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University (OSU) in Spring 2027. I am accepting new Ph.D. students to start in Autumn 2027 at OSU. Meanwhile, I am no longer taking on new students at the University of Maryland.

I received my Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology and M.S. in Statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My research focuses on test theory, categorical data analysis, latent variable modeling, and statistical inference.
