Hi! I'm Erica, a freshman from Montgomery County, MD studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Maryland-College Park. I joined the Science and Global Change Scholars program because of my passion for conservation and want to protect our Earth through research and community involvement. I am very interested in understanding the links between ecological systems and human well-being. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2029, and hope to pursue biological research in the future. While I am a student at University of Maryland, I hope to make a positive impact on the campus community, become a better leader and advocate, and discover new academic and extracurricular interests.
Outside of school, I love to be outdoors, draw, listen to and play music, and hang out with my cats. Feel free to explore the links below to learn more about my time in College Park Scholars!
