Portfolio
This portfolio includes work from the two dimensional art and technology course that this web site was created for. This course covered simple two dimensional art projects in the areas of drawing, painting and printmaking. In addition graphic design projects dealing with Photoshop and computer animation were completed. The finished artwork and the recorded processes could be transferred into lesson plans in art education. Drawing: Cartoon Project ![]() ![]() For this drawing assignment, I was asked to create and illustrate a story using pen and ink. This project focused on the art elements of line and value. "Hey Doodle Doodle" ![]() This was a warm up activity where each student began a drawing and then passed it around to classmates until the page was filled. Contour Line Drawing ![]() This was a contour line study of a classmate done with pen and ink. The focus was on the use of line to create form and to add texture. Painting: Pop Art ![]() This painting was done using acrylic paint on canvas. The subject matter was the popular image of Tastykake products. Flat colors and geometric shapes were used to portray the pop-art techniques. Go to page 2 |
