BACKGROUND: I am an art education major at the University of Maryland, College Park. Upon my graduation in December 2006 I will seek a career as an art educator.
OBJECTIVE: This website was created to share information about myself as an artist and as an art educator. There are links to various educational links and lesson plans to be shared as resources for those currently in the field of art education as well as students studying to become art educators.
OVERVIEW: On this site you will find links to my personal teaching philosophy and my views about the field of art education. In addition there is an online portfolio of the work that I completed in the two-dimensional art and technology course that this website was created for. Links to lesson plans for various grade levels are provided that cover a broad range of art forms. Additional art and educational links are provided as a resource for viewers of this site. ENJOY!
