Hi, I'm Sam, a Physics major at the University of Maryland, College Park. I'm also a member of the Science and Global Change College Park Scholars program, a service-based living-learning program. I love physics, and plan to pursue a career as an academic in that field. I intend to declare the new quantum minor, and hope to do physics research in undergrad, specifically at one of our quantum computing institutes, such as QuICS, JQI, or QTC. Outside of academics, I also love running, playing chess and Go, and learning new languages. Here at UMD, I'm a member of both the Go Club and the Undergraduate Quantum Association.
