My name is Sophie Albanez, and I was born in Venezuela and now live in Puerto Rico. I am currently a freshman at the University of Maryland, majoring in Chemical Engineering.

I am currently very interested in sustainable energy such as hydrogen fuel cells and tidal wave energy, and have publsihed reseach on the effects of immigration on teen's mental health in JSR.
