The "Easy to Spot" items are just that---easy to spot.

For this class, get rid of Dummy ITs, Dummy THEREs and instances of Anaphora.

For personal Pronouns other than "you", be sure that you have provided an explicit, overt referent for each one.

For "you", be aware of whether you really mean the reader and revise accordingly.

When revising, focus on only one or two items at a time and make several passes through your document, i.e. practice an iterative approach to writing.
