Hello! I'm Lauren, a freshman civil engineering major and Spanish minor at the University of Maryland. I hope to pursue a career in environmental engineering. I am currently involved in the College Park Scholars Science & Global Change Program, Engineers Without Borders, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), ASCE's sustainable solutions competition team, club swimming, and Spanish club. A few of my hobbies and passions include reading, sailing, playing the clarinet, hiking, and scuba diving. I love UMD so far and am excited to explore my interests over the next four years!
