Email: lgrove@terpmail.umd.edu
Welcome to my page! I am a sophomore in the Science and Global Change Scholars program at the University of Maryland. I will be getting a Ph. D in the plant research field once I complete my undergraduate degree.
I am currently an undergraduate researcher working in Dr. Gary Coleman's lab focuing on poplar plants. I participated in research and data analysis during high school. For my senior capstone project, I worked with Jug Bay Sanctuaries to create home range maps of 4 box turtles using ArcGIS. In my junior year of high school I participated in a project with NCBI to sequence and analyze a protein in duckweed. I interned as a Research Assistant with Keystone in the summer of 2021, where I worked for 135 hours. In my free time you can find me taking care of my plants or playing rugby.
