Statement of Purpose
As a student in SGC, my goal is to learn more about environmental issues, global systems, and how science can impact the future. Through Scholars, I hope to continue developing skills in teamwork, communication, and problem solving while participating in activities that help both the community and the environment. As a mechanical engineering major, I believe these experiences will help shape my future career and give me a wider understanding of the world around me.
SGC Activities
- Participated in the 2025 service day project at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens
- Participated in the DC Metro Scavenger Hunt
- Participated in the yearly New York Day Trip to New york City
- Visited the Smithsonian National Zoo for an educational excursion
