Agnes Troup was born on 18 September 1879 in Sea Cliff, Nassau County, New York.1,2 She was the daughter of Charles Robert Troup and Rachel Amelia Walpole.

Agnes Troup died on 12 July 1880.3,1 She was buried in plot 223, Katonah Cemetery, Old Katonah, Westchester County, New York. The bodies in this cemetery were removed for the filling of the Croton Aqueduct reservoir.4,3 She was reburied on 29 November 1906 in lot 1350 (Walpole plot), Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, Westchester County, New York.5
