Muriel Dollin married Basil James Troupe, son of George Robert Troupe and Elizabeth Ryder, on 8 June 1927 at Westbourne Methodist Church, West Hartlepool, Yorkshire, England.
She was a professional confectioner and taught icing classes for many years. She was a choir member and Sunday School teacher at Westbourne Methodist Church for over seventy years.
