Joanna Chamberlain was born on 10 October 1789 in New Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Freedom Chamberlain and Priscilla Josselyn.1

Joanna Chamberlain married Charles Josselyn, son of Charles Josselyn and Rebecca Keen, on 6 January 1831 at Pembroke, Massachusetts.3,4

Joanna Chamberlain appeared on the census of 1840 at Hanover, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, in the household of her husband, Charles Josselyn (the census recorded one female 50 and under 60 in his household.)5

Joanna Chamberlain died on 12 January 1874 in Pembroke, Massachusetts, at age 84.1,2 She was buried in Hanover Center Cemetery, Hanover, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2
