Gladys Troup
Gladys Conklin Troup was born on 25 August 1914 in White Plains, Westchester County, New York.1 She was the daughter of Charles Robertson Troup and Capitola Eggleston Reeves.

Gladys Conklin Troup appears in a photograph of a fourth-of-July picnic at the Anderson estate on Post Road in White Plains, probably taken around 1918.2

Gladys Conklin Troup appeared on the census of 9 February 1920 at 12 Paulding Street, White Plains, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her father.3

Gladys Conklin Troup appeared on the census of 15 April 1930 at 12 Paulding Street, White Plains, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her father; she is recorded as being a student in high school.4 Her Aunt Rae (Rachel Troup) got her a job in the dress department of Genung's Department Store in White Plains, where she did cashiering and alterations.5

Gladys Conklin Troup appeared on the census of 23 April 1940 at 12 Paulding Street, White Plains, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her father.6

Gladys Conklin Troup married Morgan Stickler about 1941 in a double wedding with her brother Earl at her Aunt Nellie Reeve's house in Chappaqua, Westchester County, New York.5 Gladys moved to Seattle with her husband before December 1941. When Morgan entered the Service in World War II, she went back to stay with her mother in White Plains (Paulding Street.)5

Gladys Conklin Troup appears in a photograph of a family picnic at 36 Davis Avenue, White Plains, New York, probably in summer (4 July?) 1944. Her mother went back to Seattle with her by train after the war.5

Gladys Conklin Troup died on 3 May 2006 in Seattle, Washington, at age 91.7,8
