Lydia Soule was born on 4 April 1740 in Pembroke, Massachusetts.1,2,3 Another source shows her born in Duxbury, Massachusetts.4 She was the daughter of Aaron Soule and Lydia Peterson.1,2

Lydia Soule married Jedediah Dwelley, son of Jedediah Dwelley and Elizabeth House, on 24 February 1763 in Pembroke, Massachusetts.5,6,7 A different marriage date, 14 February 1763, is found in the Hanover histories of 1853 and 1910.8,9

Lydia Soule and Jedediah Dwelley sold their homestead to Freedom Chamberlain, gent.10 Jedediah Dwelly, of Pembroke, housewright, and Lydia his wife sold a piece of fresh meadow land in Pembroke to Freedom Chamberlain of Pembroke on 18 February 1786.11

Lydia Soule died on 20 April 1819 in Pembroke, Massachusetts, at age 79.8,9,1,12,13
