John Soulice

John Soulice was born in 1692 in the Pyrenees mountains, France.1,2 He was the son of John Soulice.1,2 Other sources give his date of birth as 1695.3,4

John Soulice arrived in America in 1700 and settled in New Rochelle, New York.1,2

He took the oath of allegiance in New York City on 27 September 1715.5 He was a baker.5

John Soulice married Mary Bonnett, daughter of Daniel Bonnett and Jeanne Couturier.1,2,6,5

He purchased a farm in East Division, New Rochelle, New York, from Daniel Bonnett on 20 March 1739.5

John Soulice died on 28 August 1776 in New Rochelle, New York.3,5 He left a will dated 24 August 1775 and proved on 22 November 1784.5
