Jeanne Couturier was born in 1670.2 Jeanne was also called Judy or Jude.2,3 Her last name is also found spelled as Coutturier.4 She was a native of Meschers, Saintonge, Poitou, France.1

Jeanne Couturier married Daniel Bonnett, son of Louis Bonnett.1,4

Daniel and Jeanne fled to Bristol, England, and were members of the French Church there from 1690 to 1700.4

Jeanne Couturier and Daniel Bonnett arrived in America in the winter of 1700-1701, together with their three children.4,1

One source gives a different list of the children in this family: Daniel (1693-), James (1695-1757), Mary (1697-), Johanna (1699-), Peter (1705-about 1750), and John (about 171_-1757).3
