Horne2 states that Mary's mother, Bridget, was the wife of Magistrate Edward Waters at the time of Mary's marriage; according to Jones,1 Edward Waters (born about 1620) married Bridget, widow of Captain John Wilmot, about 1637 and was Mary's father.

Mary Wilmot married Miles Oakley, son of John Oakley, in 1669 at Great Neck, Nassau County, New York.3,2,4

Mary Wilmot married second John Cromwell, son of John Cromwell and Elizabeth ____, about 1683.5

Mary Wilmot died about 1698.2
