My name is Eman Azam and I'm currently a freshman attending the University of Maryland, College Park. My major is Psychology. I hope to finish my undergraduate studies and graduate with research experience, then obtain my Master's and PhD to become a clinical psychologist. My current area of interest includes working with those who have been incarcerated, as well as working in both the current and practical fields of psychology. I have been interested in pursuing psychology since I was in the 8th grade, and gained more and more knowledge about it througout highschool. I am also a member of the Science and Global Change scholars program. My interest in SGC was also nurtured throughout highschool where I was in the environmental science program for four years. Because of that program and other clubs, I've obtained experience in community-service, independent in-class research, and working in the outdoors!
