Computes the radiant power exiting from the exit slit of a monochromator, given the radiant power incident on the entrance slit and the optical characteristics of the monochromator.
Assumptions: Light source on the entrance slit is a continuum source whose spectral distribution is much wider than the spectral bandpass of the monochromator; entrance and exits are rectangular and equal; entrance slit area is filled by the source image.
