He experimented with liquid and solid propellant rockets.
He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1882.
During his life, but nobody appreciated his
experiments and discoveries until after his death.
A space flight center is named for Mr. Goddard.
It is called the “Goddard Space Flight Center”
and it is located in Greenbelt, Maryland.
Robert Goddard lived from 1882 to 1945.
