F. Scott Fitzgerald

Scott Fitzgerald was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on September 24, 1896. He attended Princeton University where he wrote an amateur musical comedy. He left Princeton in 1917 without receiving a degree. Years later, Fitzgerald remarked that perhaps he should have continued writing musicals. He was famous for writing jazz music and novels. His most famous novel was The Great Gatsby. Fitzgerald lived in Baltimore. He died in 1940. Several years after his death, his book won recognition.
