Hello! My name is Frank Zheng. I'm a sophomore computer science and math double major at the University of Maryland, College Park. Currently, I'm interested in machine learning algorithms and their applications to natural language processing and computer vision.
Out of the classroom I like to play tennis and watch NBA basketball games. My favorite team is Houston Rockets, although my favorite star is Lebron James. During my first two years at the Science and global change program, I look forward to exploring the earth's climate change, how human beings have changed the climate and what's going to be in the future. What's more, I'm also excited to see how deep learning, such a powerful technique could drive revolutions in the current global climate change research.
This website is for documenting my first two years spent at the Science and Global Change program here at the University of Maryland.
