Hello my name is Nandhini Jey and I'm currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science and I'm part of the Science and Global Change Scholars Program.
One thing I have consistently worked on is bridging the gender gap in the tech industry specifically in computer science. It's always something I've had a passion for and will always want to continue working towards that goal. I've been a part of organizations like GirlsCodeIt and Stemmetts who work towards bringing more girls into the tech field by introducing these topics. I have also been an intern for a company called JuneBrain whose goal is to create an effective OCT device for patients who require more consistent scanning so that they are able to scan by themselves at home using this machine rather than having to go to their doctor.
