Hi! I'm Manuel and I'm from Howard County, Maryland. I'm a biology major on the pre- dental track. During my time at UMD I would like prepare for my career by learning the most that I can in my field but I also would like to become a well rounded individual. I also hope to become a more knowledgeable individual when it comes to climate change and science as a whole during my time in the scholar's program. I'm looking forward to meeting some great people within the program and at the University in general. I would like to become friends with others who share the same interests and passions as me and who I can just have a great time being around. By the time I graduate, I hope to have become a mature and well rounded induvial that may inspire others to strive for their own goals.
