Hi, my name is Maya Samuels and I'm a freshman fire-protection engineering major at the University of Maryland. I'm part of the club swim team, women in engineering club, and the society of fire-protection engineers. So far, I am having an amazing time at UMD. I love doing work at Pyon-chen with friends, working out, late night walks, and getting ice cream from 251! I also hope to join the club triathlon team next semester and continue going on field trips with the SGC community!
