For my GEOG579 final project I completed a geographic analysis of Baltimore City Homicide and Shooting locations that were within the range of the Baltimore City Crime cameras to determine if the cameras are effective in detecting crimes. This image shows my final project Poster for GEOG653. For that class I further investigated the Baltimore City Crime Camera locations relative to Homicides and Shootings. I added a Kernel Density Analysis of the Crime Camera locations. I also investigated whether the cameras were overly clustered in African-American census tracts.
