George William Troup

George William Troup was born on 28 March 1921. He was the son of George Robert Troupe and Dorothy Elizabeth Bainbridge.

He was a Captain in the Durham Light Infantry in World War II, after which he took his degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Durham. He worked for the Treasury and later became a stockbroker in London.

George William Troup died on 19 June 2007 at age 86.1
