Hester DeVoe was born on 6 August 1820.1,2 ( The records of the Old Dutch Church give 1 August 1820.)3 She was the daughter of John DeVoe and Elizabeth Landrine.4

Hester DeVoe died on 6 October 1847 at age 27.1,5,6 She was buried in the Old Dutch Burying Ground, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.5,6,7
