Anne Marguerite Babin was born on 13 August 1770 in Belle Isle, Brittany, France.1 Her parents were exiled Acadians who immigrated to Louisiana after 1777.2

Anne Marguerite Babin died on 19 October 1829 at age 59.1 She was buried in Biloxi City Cemetery, Biloxi, Louisiana.1
