Samuel Josselyn was born in 1742.1 He was the son of Jabez Josselyn and Mary Lindsey.1

Samuel Josselyn was a bloomer (wrought iron worker.)2

Samuel Josselyn moved about 1785 to Poultney, Vermont.2 He and his brother Lindsey Josselyn erected a forge about a half mile east of East Poultney, Rutland County, Vermont.2
