John Soule married first Rebecca Simmons, daughter of Moses Simmons, about 1654, probably in Duxbury, Massachusetts.1,2
On 1 March 1659 John Soule and his mother were fined ten shillings for being frequently absent from public worship.3 He was among twenty-four people fined ten shillings each on 2 October 1660 for being at Quaker meetings.4
