Frederick De Voe was born about 1710.1 He was the son of Frederick de Veaux and Hester Dykman.
Frederick De Voe married Jane Doty before November 1743.1
After his father died in 1743, he leased a farm from Colonel Frederick Philips on the Philips Manor in Lower Yonkers. During the American Revolution this area was scourged by the notorious marauders known as "Cow Boys" and "Skinners," and Frederick lost practically all of his possessions.2
Frederick De Voe died about 1781 M.3
Frederick and Jane were buried in a private burial ground on the farm of a neighbor, Gilbert Valentine, located at the northwest corner of what is now Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, New York.3
