Hi! My name is Harshita, and I'm from New Jersey. I'm currently a freshman at the University of Maryland, College Park studying Computer Science. I'm also a College Park Scholar and am part of the Science and Global Change program. I love to read, bake, and cook - my favorite is making bread! I'm interested in the intersection between AI and sustainability, and hope to work towards making AI more sustainable and ethical. My favorite on-campus study spot is the 5th floor of the Iribe Center. Over the next four years, I want to get involved in research and join exciting clubs that will allow me to challenge myself and grow!
