Hello, I'm Grisham, a Microbiology and SGC scholars student here at UMD. I'm principally interested in genetics and the natural world. I'm seeking to foster my understanding in these studies through engaging in research and collaborating with others in a cohesive work environment. I currently am doing research for the Biswas Lab on human pathogens. I characterize myself as adaptable, eager to learn, and kind, and I'm always ready to learn about new ideas and concepts. Like JRR Tolkien once said, "True education is a kind of never ending story."

My hobbies include being outdoors, playing soccer, mountain biking, and playing the piano. I also research in my free time about a variety of different topics on geography, ecology, and demography. At UMD, I enjoy going to soccer games and meeting new people!
