Dinosaur Garden The students visit the Dinosaur Garden at the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, D.C., to get a feeling for what the world of the dinosaurs in which the tree lived, must have been like.

Clay in buckets There is more work to do however, if one really wants to find a dinosaur today. Clay which contains dinosaur fossils, has been brought by truck to the Watkins Elementary School grounds.
Here Dr. Kranz explains to the students how they will start on their quest to find a dinosaur.
