My name is Cameron Class. I am a freshman student in the Science and Global Change scholars program. As of right now, I am currently an undecided engineering major however I will most likely declare mechanical engineering, with a minor in project management. The purpose as to why I am here at the University of Maryland Science and Global Change program is because I genuinely want to make a difference in this world. I know my field of engineering is heavily based on change and improvement, and much of what I will do will involve changing the world in some way. Therefore, I want to learn about how the science I will be exercising throughout my career will effect the world around me, both positively and negatively, so that I can try and leave the world a better place then it currently is.
