The following are links to activities & projects that I use with my classes. I currently teach Spanish levels I and V.

Spanish Song Lyrics I use a lot of music in my classes and spend a lot of time looking for lyrics and transcribing them.  Hope this list saves you some time!  I try to update it as I find new songs.

Costa Rica Internet Exercise A simple internet exercise to introduce your students to Costa Rica.  I haven't been able to replace one of the links on this site, so if you have a suggestion, e-mail me.
Spanish Art Activity An online scavenger hunt created for my Spanish V students.  Students answer questions by going to El Prado and El Museo Reina Sofía. Questions are in Spanish.

Power Point Presentations
You need to have Power Point or the Power Point Viewer on your computer to see some of these presentations.  They were created to assist the teacher in presenting the material.  (They are most useful, of course, if you have a computer-to-tv hook up in your classroom or an LCD screen projector.  Follow these links to download the MAC PP Viewer & the PC Viewer.  These presentations are VERY time consuming to create (especially if you are searching for graphics) so if you have a presentation you have created that would save a teacher some time, please let me know and I will post it here.
Spanish I Verb Review A simple presentation which reviews some of the verbs learned in Spanish I.  This is a web version of the presentation so you don't need the viewer unless you want to download the presentation source.
El Tiempo A presentation created to review the weather.  Created by Jean Rezek of Baltimore County.  View it in French.  This another web based presentation so you don't need anything special to view it.
¿Qué hora es?  A basic time review/presentation for the introductory level.
Las Banderas This presentation contains all of the flags, country & capital names.  View the web based version here.
Power Point Jeopardy An excellent presentation created by Matt Hamlyn.  It's complete with sounds and you can edit the game with your own questions.


Student "Emociones" Mini Projects A Spanish I project where some students elected to create their projects using HTML.  Click for Hank's project and Anthony's project  for examples.
Student Word Creations A Spanish I class or homework activity where students create visual representations of their vocabulary.  This link includes 4 student created samples.
Mi Viaje Project A project developed for Spanish Level II.  Includes sample handouts, a rubric and a detailed explanation of the project.

Gorila Pedido A classroom activity where students order and create their own gorilla.  This page can be printed out or copied into a word processing program.

These are two activities I made to go along with the videos for DIME, Unit 6 although I no longer use the series.
