Hello, my name is Adrian Strasser-King. I am a computer engineering major in the Science and Global Change (SGC) Scholars program at the University of Maryland, College Park. Computer engineering is very critical to our society due to its extensive application in many industries that have improved countless lives. Transportation, communication, and medical care are three prime examples. Life would simply be unimaginable without their presence.
As a computer engineering student, I plan to not only improve my knowledge in this vast field, but also study how it relates to the everchanging state of our planet. By doing this, I hope to improve the efficiency and quality of methods currently being implemented to decrease anthropogenic climate change.
As a student at the University of Maryland, I plan to eventually conduct research that revolves around both of these subject matters while being involved in several clubs and organizations.
