Fossils collected by visitors to the Dinosaur Park

Dinosaur Park is a site in Laurel, Maryland which preserves a rare deposit of fossils from the early Cretaceous Period, about 115 million years ago. The park serves as an outdoor laboratory where the public can work alongside paleontologists to help uncover the past. Hundreds of fossils discovered by visitors have been collected and cataloged to date, enhancing our knowledge about the ancient ecosystem that once existed here.
