Hi! My name is Zoe Schlossnagle and I am a second-year Physics major, and Computer Science minor in UMD's Science and Global Change Scholars Program! I am very excited to be a part of a group that values science and applying to better the world around us. I intend to graduate with a B.S. in Physics and loads of CS experience. I have always been fascinated with space and the universe around us, so learning not only about how it works but how to better it is a dream come true. I have extensive leadership experience in music and in other humanities fields, but I am looking to expand that skillset to the STEM world. Recently, I have started working with Dr. Mong-Han Huang and the Active Tectonics Lab researching near-surface geophysics. You can learn more about that here. I have a heavy background in political organization and activism, and intend on carrying that with me throughout my career. I am currently a member of UMD's Equity Constellation group and am their current Assembly Fellow and website creator, which you can find here.
