Topics:

This course is intended to acquire the student with the latest trends of developing quality management systems. Fundamentals of qualify management systems will be discussed. Special attentions will be given to applications of engineering statistics, statistical process control, national standards on acceptance sampling, design of experimentation, total quality management with Deming 14 points, the Baldrige Award, and ISO 9000 systems. Lectures in the classroom, team projects, homework assignments, and examinations are the four main formats in the learning process. Class attendance is extremely important.
