Statement: A complete assembly drawing is a drawing of
the product put together, showing all parts in their operational
positions. The finished separate pieces come to the assembly department
to be put together according to the assembly drawings. Sometimes,
it is necessary or desirable to do some small machining operation
during the assembly, often drilling, reaming, or hand finishing.
This assembly function will allow you to check if your part drawings
are correct by checking if they fit together as they were intended.
